About Dr. Payne

Paige grew up in Greenville, SC, where she spent her childhood and high school years before heading to the Lowcountry to study Exercise Science at the College of Charleston. She stayed in Charleston to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Driven by a passion for sports rehabilitation, Paige went on to complete an extensive Orthopedic Residency, sharpening her skills to deliver the highest level of care to her patients back in her hometown. After years of practicing within the constraints of the insurance-based model, Paige joined Flashpoint to better align her clinical expertise with her patients’ personal goals, in order to provide tailored sessions leading to lasting results. 

Paige takes a comprehensive, full-body approach to movement and recovery. She’s equally passionate about addressing nervous system and movement system impairments as she is about getting patients lifting, loading, and moving with purpose. She enjoys working with runners of all levels, HIIT junkies, parents juggling it all, weekend warriors, and competitive athletes looking to return to sport stronger than before. She wants to help her community stay active, healthy, and thriving!. 

Despite her last name, Dr. Payne is dedicated to delivering quite the opposite experience for her patients. She combines a hands-on, individualized approach with a focus on education and empowerment; helping each person enhance their quality of life through movement! Above all, she values compassion and connection as the foundation for helping her patients reach their goals. Aside from physical therapy, Paige enjoys spending time with family and friends, dabbling in marathons and Hyrox competitions, exploring new places, and picking up new hobbies along the way.
